They have benefited from the longest design and testing period in the history of the famous brand. Even if Audio-GD had already studied the products since 2006, the brand's best technicians offer them here in the most advanced form with outstanding performance. What's new in the MK2 versionThis MK2 version of the HE-9 adds some new features to improve the sound performance with a more detailed and dynamic sound, but also new features:The output of the preamplifier now incorporates output buffers to improve the sound quality of the preamp output. Dual volume control to perfectly match the different output levels of your sources. The two modules for the left and right channels are now completely identical and are factory matched for perfect sound consistency. An impeccable interior and connectivityThis HE-9 has no less than 5 analog inputs to meet all needs: 2x RCA, 2x XLR and 1x ACSS, along with 3 analog outputs: XLR, RCA and ACSS. Not to mention the headphone outputs on the front panel: XLR 3 pins, XLR 4 pins and 6.35mm jack, all three stereo. Every Audio-GD product is thoroughly tested from every angle with one of the most powerful systems in the world: the Audio Analyzers 2700 Series from Audio Precision. Class A / Balanced / ACSS / XLR / RCAThis HE-9 headphone preamplifier/amplifier is designed around a purely symmetrical Class A ACSS discrete circuit, without any AOP and with separate power supply. This prevents electromagnetic interference on the processed signals. It is equipped with no less than 3 R-Core transformers for a total power of 260W and a consumption of only 95W. It also has 100,000F of very high-end Nover capacitors and 8 transistors of 150W each for the output stage. ACSSAudio-GD has its own technological signature called ACSS for Audio-GD Current System Signal. Thanks to the firm's expertise and know-how, this technology offers a less colourful, more detailed and neutral sound. When the ACSS output is used, the XLR and RCA outputs are muted. Regenerative Power SupplyAudio-GD's HE series incorporates Regenerative Power Supply technology, which has been extensively tested and researched before reaching the current result, offering incredible performance. This technology uses, among other things, a separation of the power supply circuits by means of a thick aluminium plate, shielding of the main power supply circuit and a design that limits the transmission of interference between the power supply and the audio circuits. The quality of this power system is felt from the first listening with more detailed reproduction, greater dynamics, deeper bass and a wider sound stage. In addition, this technology also offers a more analog sound reproduction.
