The Chord CPM 2800 digital integrated amplifier is a furtheradvancement in our range of successful integrated products.   Wirelessconnectivity gives the ultimate in freedom so that phones, digital assistantsand personal computers can transmit high quality audio using the BluetoothAdvanced Audio Distribution profile without the need to run cables. The CPM2800includes our custom designed Bluetooth receiver that allows the extraction anddecryption of digital audio information and this along with the other digitalinputs is input directly into a high quality digital to analogue converter. Thebluetooth connection uses a very simple pairing procedure and with a range ofup to 30 meters it can be used anywhere in the home.   The USB port can beconnected to a personal computer and will seamlessly appear as an audio deviceby the operating system. Any music played on the computer will be digitallydecoded and then converted to a HiFi quality signal for playback. Selection and control of both digital and analogue inputs isvia an easy to use front panel interface or remote control and the largedisplay can easily be seen across a room. Power is provided by our tried and tested technology ofultra high frequency low ESR power supply. This has the ability to store energy far more efficientlythan conventional designs. This gives the amplifier section enormous reservesof instantly delivered, precisely controlled power which is more than capableof controlling even the most demanding loudspeakers. Finally for home cinema compatibility an AV Bypass input isincorporated so that the CPM2800 can be used in conjunction with an AVProcessor without the need for a separate amplifier.
