Since his endorsement with Schecter, he now has over 10 guitars built to his own standards. The USA Keith Merrow KM-7  is crafted with a swamp ash body, delivering a clean and airy twang. The 'thin fast C' neck is made from a combination of 3 beautiful tonewoods, including wenge, maple and purpleheart. Loaded with a pair of Fishman Fluence Custom Keith Merrow pickups, the USA KM-7 produces a bold and versatile sound. The Schecter KM-7's appearance is as loud as its sound, with a Blue Crimson finish over the wood grain of the premium figured burl creating a unique look. Keith Merrow Signature Fishman Fluence Pickups The USA KM-7 MK-III is powered by a pair of Keith Merrow's Custom Fishman pickups. The pickups are incredibly bold, as well as being versatile too. Each pickup features three voices, offering flexibility for the modern guitarist. The bridge pickup's first voice has plenty of low-end grunt, whilst voice 2 yields a range of tones from clean to crunchy to warm, and voice 3 offers classic single coil tones with edge. The neck pickup's first voice is P. A. F style for a vintage sound, whilst voice 2 has a tight and airy chime, and voice 3 is also single coil. Double Cutaway Swamp Ash Body The Schecter USA KM-7 features a double cutaway body, providing easier access to the higher frets. The swamp ash body is lightweight, and offers versatile tonal characteristics. Ash has plenty of twang, as well as being both crisp and articulate. Its sound accommodates a range of different styles, with its firm lows, snappy highs and a sweet sustain. This Keith Merrow guitar also features a premium figured burl top, adding unique and striking aesthetics. Neck Made From Beautiful Tonewood Combination The neck has a 'thin, fast C' profile that offers smooth play and allows fast shredding. The neck is made from a combination of three beautiful tonewoods, for an overall versatile tone. The 3-piece maple, wenge and purpleheart neck provides the guitar with enhanced tightness, firm lows and a nice midrange. The tonewood combination offers bright characteristics with a snappy attack, whilst offering a strong and sturdy construction. A macassar ebony fingerboard delivers a balanced tone, as well as a very responsive tone with smooth sustain. The natural feel of the ebony provides a smooth feel, making it ideal for guitarists who enjoy playing fast.
