Each 131 environmental speaker has a tuned, ported enclosure and a proprietary Bose full-range driver for full, deep bass and clear, crisp high frequencies. Moreover, because they are designed to fit into a boat's pre-cut speaker holes, you can easily flush-mount 131 speakers for a neat, professional appearance. There is even an installation kit with mounting hardware included.
Performance tested to the extreme.
We put our 131 environmental speakers through test after test, and they came through with flying colours withstanding temperature extremes of 70ÂșC (158ÂșF) to -25ÂșC (-13ÂșF), and surviving the Salt Fog Test 66% longer than the demanding Marine Industry Standard.
